ONE needed to brand themselves to maximize impact of marketing dollars, as well as to stand out in a crowded classical music scene, especially in New Haven, Connecticut, where the organization is headquartered. After conducting research, the "shell" of the Orchestra's logo was identified as its most recognizable feature, and suggested the seriousness and heritage critical to success in that market.

We developed a three-year strategy to re-establish the Orchestra as the premiere musical organization in the New Haven area, as the base for its expansion to the wider New England territory. The shell logo and signature blue would solidify the brand image, and help quickly identify ONE materials and events, and was easily extendable to multiple elements.

Every target and objective identified for year one, including audience attendance and donor relations, was met.
